The heart of my work is a two-way dialogue: my story feeding my Art -- my Art telling my story. Grounded in her lived experiences, Kanika uses art as her language to break invisible barriers and create a dialogue to generate greater compassion for humanity. Her practice is rooting in the ethos of making the invisible visible and in disrupting the artistic aesthetic by challenging the idea of perfectionism within the arts. By sharing some of her works in a raw and unpolished form, Kanika wishes to create a new normal that redefines how we see and understand imperfection.
