When a $800million redevelopment of an office building in downtown Toronto was praised and celebrated for providing much needed office space to the downtown core, no mention was given to the impact of those who would be displaced as a result. In addition to the character and history in the nearly century-old building that once stood at 156 Front Street West, it held the hopes and dreams of so many of its occupants. In its last month of existence before demolition, staff who occupied the 6th floor were invited to leave their mark and share what significance those four walls held for them. This is their story...
